Casa Vale Louro offers relaxed, comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation with a touch of Luxury.
Situated in the heart of Central Portugal it provides the perfect place to stay during your visit to one of the most beautiful parts of Portugal.
Location
We are about 30km south of Coimbra, in the little village of Carvalhal de Santo Amaro near the market town of Penela.
Rooms
At Casa Vale Louro we have three double guest rooms all designed with your comfort in mind.
Two rooms have balconies overlooking the Louro Valley with views of Penela Castle and our third room opens up to the dapled shade of walnut trees.
All three rooms offer en-suite facilities and each room has two very comfortable single beds (that can be linked to form a double bed)
made up with soft white linen and quilt. There will be fresh fluffy towels and environmentally friendly toiletries including hand wash, shower gel, and shampoo.
Our tea trays include a cordless kettle, tea and coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits.
Guest Sitting Room
Our guests are welcome to sit and relax in the sitting room where Sky TV and internet access is available.
Breakfasts
Breakfast is served between 8am and 9:30am.
The breakfast will be continental style using fresh local produce including a choice of cerials, fruit juice, cheeses and honey as well as freshly brewed tea and coffee.
There are some wonderful local eating places and we will be happy to recommend these to you when you arrive.
